Circe just shook her head. She couldn't really imagin. She never really looked into the whole Marauders thing before. She had never really been interested. She knew the basics of everything like how Pettigrew betrayed them and went to Voldemort. It was odd to since he was a Gryffindor. Really Circe's more loyal than him and that's even coming from a Slytherin.

"How do you know all this." She said and paused, "After all it could have been any room in this house. How do you know it's this one. Other than the tattered sheets and the walls."

Artemis sat herself on the bed,her legs barely reaching the ground.

"My Aunt Selene was really...close..to Remus.. and to some extend the rest of the Marauders." She said quietly,gazing intently at a brown stain on the floor. "I grew up listening to stories about them and just..." a sigh.

"I've seen pictures of them, seen memories,all of that made me feel like I knew them. And it's just so sad..." Artemis stopped and bit her trembling lip. She closed her eyes and took deep breaths. Artemis looks up at Circe and gave her a watery smile.

"A-as for me knowing it's this room..saw it in Aunt Selene's memory. Plus I can feel it." She said, tracing circles across the bed.

Circe took a sharp breath in. "Oh I'm so sorry Artemis!" She had no idea or else she probably wouldn't have brought it up in the fisrt place. "If it's to much we can go some place else." She pointed her thumb at the door.

Artemis smiled but shook her head.

"No it's alright..I just..want to see if they left anything behind that i can take...as a souvenir you know?" She said, as she hopped off the bed.

"But we'll leave soon. I don't like how the Whomping Willow turned out. stupid voldemort and his deatheaters." She mumbled.

Circe nodded. "Okay. I'll help look too." She walked over by the bed and opened the night stand. There was nothing in it and she closed it. She got down on the ground and looked under the bed. She could see something but she wasn't sure what. She tried to reach for it but her arms were just about and inch to short and she couldn't fit under the bed.

Artemis watch her struggle with something under the bed and spoke up after a moment.

"Aren't you a witch? Just summon it." she said, amusement clearly ringing through her voice.

Circe stood up and said, "Yes but I can't accio it because I can't tell what it is." She brushed all the dust off of her. She didn't mind being dirty but the dust made her sneeze. "Maybe you should try to get it. After all you do have longer arms than me."

Artemis bit back a laugh.

"You could also cast the lumos spell." She said,but she dutifully sat herself on the floor. She looked up at Circe.

"So are you going to do what I suggest or really make me do the labor work." She asked.

Circe rolled her eyes. "Fine, you win." Circe muttered to herself.

"Lumos." Circe said lighting her wand. She got back down to the bed and lit up the underneath. "Ummm." Circe said, "One problem. I don't know WHAT it is. All I can tell is it's made out of metal."

Artemis huffed.

"You really ARE going to make me do the hard labor. You owe me." She muttered before she sprawled herself on the dusty floor. Suddenly,she wrinkled her nose and let out a sneeze.

"yep. you definitely owe me." She coughed. Artemis placed her cheek on the floor and reached forward to grab the small object. She sat up and gazed at the thing in her hand.

"Well, you were wrong Circe. It's not made of metal, it's made of pure silver I think." She said, tracing her finger across the smudge object. Blowing the dust away,she realize it was a dog tag. A rather thick one.



"What the-" She started as she twirled it around her fingers. It was a locket,she realized. Artemis tried to pry it open,but it was no use. It was jammed shut.


"Circe,do you think you could open it?" She asked, looking at the other brunette.
