"Do you swear that you will keep the secrets of the Elite?" the boy asked as he stood with his hands behind his back, looking down at the girl standing in front of him. There were four others standing slightly behind him, three boys and one girl, in a formation with two on either side of him, all looking at her and standing in the same position. Another girl stood beside the girl they were all looking at, with her wand in her hand, though not in a threatening manner.
The girl looked up at the leader and smiled nervously at him. "Of course," she replied and it took all of the boy's willpower to bite back a grin from appearing on his face.
"And do you promise, to commit whole hearted to the Elite and to protect it's members just as they will protect you?" he asked her, an eyebrow raised. She nodded eagerly with a firm 'yes'. The boy couldn't help but to chuckle a little before continuing. He nodded to the girl with her wand in her hand and a few strings of light flew out of her wand and encircled the small girl before fading away. "Congratulations, Bell Elise. Welcome to the Elite."
Isabella Elisabeth Burke grinned as she looked up at her cousin who she knew couldn't be more proud of her. She was only a second year and the younger girl ever to be instated into the Elite. The group of seven pureblood Slytherins mostly consisted of sixth and seventh years with the occasional fifth and even a couple of fourth years but never a second year or even third years. She could feel the pride swelling within her. She would be a legend.
.:Two Years Later:.
Isabella walked up the girls' staircase into the Slytherin Common Room and eagerly looked around. It was nearly dinner time and she was starving but she wasn't supposed to go down without the rest of the Elite. Since her instillation in her second year the leadership had changed twice. For that one blissful year her cousin had been in charge but he graduated and passed it down to another boy who then graduated the previous year. Now another seventh year boy was their leader: Jameson Gamp. At his side was Chastity Williams, the reason that Isabella was always so hungry. She wanted to lose some weight so she had Isabella and the third girl in the group, Laura on a diet with her.
She grinned when she saw Duncan Ackerman and Malcolm Whitner sitting on the leather sofa. "Hey, guys. Where is Jameson?" she said as she sat down across from them, one leg crossed over the other. Just as she spoke the entrance to the common room opened and in walked Jameson Gamp and his right hand man, Artemis Black just as Chastity Williams and Laura Hart came up from the seventh year girls' dormitory where they both lived.
-----------------------------
Jameson Gamp had a lot on his mind. School being one thing. And that was one of the hardest things to push into the dark corners being that he was living in it. Every single day was revolved around that very thing. He would seem more Ravenclaw at times, his nose practically part of the book when he studied. But of course he needed social time too. Party time more like it, but of course, he didn't have time for that.
His thoughts were too focused on too many things. School, but he already went over that. Plus, he hated repeating himself. The other thing was the Elite. Keeping that in line and a secret. Not even the walls were meant to know- nor the people in the portraits with their gossip that spread around the school like wildfire. He was so careful to not discuss it unless it couldn't be heard. Not even thought about it anyways, but that was nearly impossible as well.
He met up with his best friend, Artemis Black. The boy was short in comparison to himself, but with darker hair and more contrasting features. His eyes were a stormy grey, but Jameson would barely seem them under that whole heap of black hair. But other than his looks, Artemis was the perfect person for being second in command. Analytical, percise and punctual. He would probably be the next likely person to be leader of the Elite, but the flaw was that Artemis was in the same grade as Jameson himself.
They entered the common room to see Isabella, Duncan and Malcolm sitting on the leather sofas in front of the green glowing fireplace. The other two girls, Chastity Williams and Laura Hart, came from the girls dormitory. Jameson had to keep himself from cringing every time he looked at Chastity. She was getting skinnier by the minute- and not in a good way. He tried to talk to her, but she wouldn't listen. One of her many flaws. But she proved to be loyal to the Elite and to him as well, so he kept her in- no matter how stick-thin she got.
"I have arrived," Jameson said sarcastically with a grin on his face. In the corner of his eye, he saw a smirk creeping into the corners of Artemis's mouth, his face hiding the emotion in his eyes. He was careful to not show it, it was weakness in his family. To Jameson, emotion was also weakness, but he often used it when telling convincing lies to the authorities. It worked too.
"Are we all here?" Jameson asked after everyone had gathered in the lobby. His dark eyes shifted around, making sure that no extra pair of ears was present. He mumbled a spell just in case and then continued with a confident but slightly arrogant smile .
(I will be playing Jameson. I need someone to play Isabella. We can double for other characters)
