Jason Price sat on the bench in a park, located in Godric's Hollow. He was 11 years old, and regretting the next year of school. He hated to school he attended. He was bullied for getting straight A's. He sighed and looked around the park.
It was a quiet place, where Jason could come and be alone with his thoughts. When he first arrived at the park, earlier that day, he thought that he had seen someone lurking around, but he had been wrong.
Jason was feeling sad, and lonely. His dad was away for work, so Jason hadn't talked to anyone in days. He knew his dad would rather be home, but his job didn't agree.
Jason picked a flower and started twirling it in his' fingers. He had been sitting there for about 5 minuets before he realized that the flower was drooping before his eyes, as though it felt like Jason. Bewildered, Jason stared at the flower in amazement. Then the flower perked back up!
"Bloody..." Jason said.

Artemis had just decided to take a walk with her sister, after much persuasion on the latter, and they both had decided to the park.
"Race you there!" Artemis shouted, before running to the swims.
"No fair! You know I'm clumsy!" Pamela shouted back, her red hair bouncing behind her as she tried to keep up with her sister. Artemis laughed.
"I'm clumsy too!" Pamela, with a determined looked, pushed herself harder until both girls were head to head. Sadly,Artemis had soon lost when she tripped over the leg of a bench and was sent sprawling to the floor.
"Ughhh." She moaned, rubbing her head with one hand as she supported her weight with the other. She looked up,towards the bench, and was surprise to see a boy-about the same age as her- doing magic!
"Mind helping me up?" she asked him.

It was just another August day in Godric's Hollow. Ami's mom had gone off to work at the Ministry, leaving Ami responsible for her younger brother, Collin. This wasn't anything new, it happened almost everyday. Today, though, Collin had decided to take a nap, leaving Ami alone with nothing to do. She was sitting outside on her front steps when it came to her. There was a park right down the road. If nothing else, she could spend the next hour on the swingset. Of course, she wasn't supposed to leave Collin alone, but he was sleeping, so Ami decided to go.
She set off down the road. Her brown hair was in a french braid down the back of her head, but tendrils were coming loose to blow into her face. Brushing them away absentmindedly, Ami reached the park. She noticed a pair of kids around her age by a bench, one was laying on the ground as if she had just fell and the other was actually sitting on the bench. Instead of walking over to them, Ami headed toward the swingset.

Jason looked around in surprise. He had never seen anyone at this park, besides himself, let alone people his age. He quickly covered up the flower. Thud! Someone had tripped over his outstretched legs.
"Oh," Jason said, surprised, "I'm sorry."
He looked down at the girl who he had tripped. She was his age, and had a curious look on her face. He helped her too her feet before he introduced himself.
"I'm Jason Price." He said politely.
Out of the corner of his eye, Jason saw another girl enter the park. He didn't know if he was happy, or upset that others had shown up.

Artemis, impatiently, tucked her brown bangs behind her ear to get a good look at the boy. She cocked her head, studying him.
"I'm Artemis Zeal." She said kindly, after a moment of silence. "Did you just move here? I haven't seen you around."

"Ya. A few weeks ago." Jason said. "How long have you been here?"
Jason waved at the other girl across the park, telling her she was welcome to join them.

Artemis turned around and saw it was one of the girls from Madame Malkin's.
"AMI!!" She shouted waving her over. She turned her attention back to Jason.
"Oh, I was born here. Literally, my mum started having contractions sitting on this bench." She shook her head. "I'll save you the gory details."

"Who?" She asked, she glance back to Ami once she realize who he meant. "Oh,Ami! Yeah, I met her in Madame Malkin's a few weeks ago. Didn't realize that she lived here."
Artemis turned to head towards the swing, but glance back at Jason.
"Do you want to go to the swing? I'll give you the honor to push me." She teased, her blue eyes sparking with amusement.

Jason laughed, "Sure."
They walked over to the swings, before a question poped into Jason's mind.
"Er...Whats Madame Malkin's?" he asked.

Artemis plopped herself on the swing, but froze at the sudden question. How could she have been so careless?
"Oh it's a store where you buy really cool clothes and stuff." She said casually, flicking her bangs away from her face.
"So aren't you going to push me or something?" She asked,a smile tugging at her lips.

Ami smiled and waved back at Artemis, who she had met on her trip to Diagon Alley. It was weird, she hadn't known that she lived here. She was about to get off the swing to join the other two kids when they started walking toward the swing set instead. It didn't really matter to Ami. In fact, she liked this better because she got to stay on the swing.
"Hey Artemis!" Ami said as the pair reached the swing set, but she didn't recognize the boy. It wasn't a big deal though; she didn't really know anyone. What bothered her was that she didn't know whether he was a wizard or not, so she kept her mouth closed. It's not like every family in Godric's Hollow was magical.

Artemis smiled at Ami.
"Hey! How have you been?" The brunette asked, her blue eyes sparkling. "I had no idea you lived here! We should hang out more often."
