Kiara hurried out of her potions class. She shuffled towards the great hall, eyes fixed straight ahead and stomach grumbling. She kept her books propped on her hips that swayed just slightly as she walked through the crowded corridors. Kiara hadn't been at hogwarts long. This was her first year. She had yet to make friends. But that didn't bother her too much. She shrugged it off. Who needs friends anyways? She only craved power. She shoved open the heavy wooden doors and stepped into the corridor. It was a typical day. All the typical groups were all gathered together. The nerds with their noses burried in books, the misfits all giggling about some inside joke, the perfect people all being perfect and beautiful, Kiara rolled her eyes and walked past them, chin lifted.
She settled next to the misfits. They were her favorites. She enjoyed ease dropping on them and hearing their humorous jokes and pranks. Kiara smirked at the last part of one of their jokes. She grabbed a pumpkin pasty and popped it into her mouth. She didn't eat healthy at all. She was a vegetarian and basically only ate junkfood and sugar. But she was thin and felt no need to worry too much about what she ate. Kiara preferred to eat what she liked. She chomped down, the pasty was delicious. A smirk played on her petal pink lips but she didn't speak.
Kiara was confident. But she preferred to keep to her self. She felt that most people weren't worth her time but she would be nice if someone spoke to her. She ran her fingers through her black hair and ate in silence, scanning the room. People watching. These people were so entertaining. It was almost like watching animals at the zoo. Kiara nearly laughed alloud at that thought. It was a humorous idea but she kept it to herself.
