Wyatt sat on the side of the lake picking up rocks finding the right one's that would skip across the crystal smooth surface. He pulled his wand out of his back pocket and polishes the rocks he already picked with just a simple tap. With a simple flick of his wrist he sends the polished rock skipping across. "Hmm, seven skips. I can do better." He said picking up another rock and attempting to beat his last skip.

A young girl skipped over to The lake. She was just admiring the glisten of the great pond when all of a sudden, a huge strand of ripples followed a shiny rocked that jumped ove the water. She looked around for the source of the rock when she saw someone. "Nice! I was never able to skip rocks. Whenever I try, the rock sinks to the bottom." She said matter-of-factly. "Oh, where are my manners? I'm Rebecca Berns, first year Ravenclaw and soon to be well-known author of the greatest novel of the century!" Rebecca held out her hand. "And you?"

Wyatt looked at the girl and then shook her hand, "Wyatt Austin, first-year Gryffindor. You probably aren't throwing the rock at the right angle or have the wrong rocks." He picked up up a rock from the pile he had picked out, and handed it to her. "Try this one. Imagine you are going to throw the rock above the surface and then just flick your wrist."

Rebecca stared at the rock, then at the lake, concentrating real hard. She flick her wrist and the rock skipped across the lake three times. "Hey, I did it!" She looked down and took a rock that looked exactly like the other one. She concentrated and flicked her wrist again. It, once again, skipped across the lake. "Wow, thanks. That's really cool."

Wyatt smiled and picked up another. "Yeah, once you can get it with magical help, you can do it with just about any rock. Magic just makes it easier." He laughed as he threw two at a time making them skip in synchronization. "I am able to throw about three or four rocks at once, depending on the size. Lot's of alone time before Hogwarts."
