I know that when two pure-bloods/half-bloods/muggles have a child it is also a pure blood/half-blood/muggleborn, and that if a muggle and a pure have a child it's a half-blood. but wouldn't a pure-blood and a muggleborn (magical muggle) have a 3-quarter NOT a half blood? because in any other blood things if your (just putting stuff) father was full german and your mother was half german half indian...you would be 3/4th's german and 1/4th indian. so why not 3/4th's magical and 1/4th muggle hence...a 3-quarter blood. Am I right? or am I just pulling a Trelawney and just gone off the deep end with anchors on my ankles?

blood is determined by grandparents, not parents, so a Muggleborn/Pureblood mix has 2 muggle grandparents and 2 magical grandparents, so half blood. But a Pureblood Halfblood mix would be 3/4 blood

But a Pureblood Halfblood mix would be 3/4 blood Yup, blood is determined from parents and grandparents, because Harry Potter, his dad James Potter is a pureblood and his mother Lily Potter is a muggleborn. Lily's dad is also muggleborn and James's dad is also pureblood making Harry halfblood.
