Dido's aw had dropped during the first few moments of class. There was a reason why History of magic was her favorite. Because it didn't involved magic! Slumping lower in her seat hoping to be ignore for most of the class seem to be working.
Her quill flew across the parchment with notes. Her mind filling with facts and names, dates would easily be forgotten if she didn't.
Dido bite in to the feather tip of her pen waiting for the answer to Miss Sommers question. Good Question!

"Good question, Miss Sommers. But fifty miles is still a good distance. Think about your trip on the Hogwarts Express coming to school and how long that ride was. It would take almost an hour by train. There's no record of what made them change it to a hundred miles. Perhaps a muggle saw a Quidditch match going on. We can only assume at this point.
"Are there any more questions before I assign homework?"

Elliott shoke his hand. That was a great question indeed because Muggles always draw witchs with brooms. Maybe they had sighted something and thats why they draw them with brooms? Who knows.

"Very well. Great class everybody! I hope you all have the notes written down, and here's the homework."
Professor Schaefer turned the board to put writing up for one last time that day.
Homework
Choose one of the following topics to write a fictional story about. You may include fictional characters or characters that really existed, but the story must take place in the year(s) they occurred.
*Ancient Egyptian wizards putting curses on tombs *The founding of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry *The first release of the Golden Snidget at a Quidditch match *Witch burnings in the 14th century
"Now I would like these stories to be at least five hundred words. That might seem like a lot, but hopefully as soon as your creative sides come flowing out, you'll quickly get there. And more is of course welcome. These will be due within a week. After that, I will not award House Points. Now everyone scram! See you all next class!"
